I said my return would be triumphant and 3 albums is what you get. Here's one from Black Moth Super Rainbow's Tom Fec. This album gets down to it (don't really know what that means), with the funkiest most heavy beats I've heard in a long time Fucked Up Friends certainly doesn't disappoint. Aesop Rock sneaks in on a few tracks. Ummmmm It's like Ratatat yea...
2 for 1 tonight woot. Alright these guys are already blowing up so you might not be the first one on the block to hear about these dudes. Consisting of Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti, his girlfriend Binki, and some dude named Rodrigo (Los Hermanos) , Little Joy has put together a beautiful pop album. The sound is like The Strokes on Xnanies, that's all I have to say about that.
So, here's one I've been sitting on for a while. Originally created by Boston's Michael Angelakos as a Valentine's Day present for his girl friend, this synth pop gem is catchy as fuck. It has a kind of an Of Montreal vibe, but regardless of your musical preferences this one will surely get you off your ass and dance a little. At least I hope so.
